Highlight the role of of networking in sharing and effective utilization of resources in libraries and information centres. Examines the scope and objectives of networking and traces the the role played by the Government of India towards this direction. Describe the major networks within the country their origin, functions and discusses some of the practical problems that they face. Some solutions to overcome the problems are also offered.
