Abstract

When drawing an SRSWR or an SRSWOR one has to decide how many draws are to be made or what should be the choice of the sample size. A choice is made considering the accuracy needed to be attained, the magnitude of the error to be tolerated minding the probability levels to be maintained in fulfilling these. Chebyshev’s inequality is a convenient tool to realize these desiderata.
