Abstract (Summary of the Work)
This work focuses on the super resolution of images. The term super resolution (SR) is used to describe the process of obtaining a high resolution (HR) image, or a sequence of HR images, from a set of low resolution (LR) observations. This process has also been referred to in the literature as resolution enhancement(RE). SR has been applied primarily to spatial and temporal RE. We only concentrate on motion based spatial RE, where every LR observations has sub-pixel different shifts. In this project we would try to model a iterative back propagation algorithm for super resolution image reconstruction. This approach is anill-posed problem. Hence the resultant image consisting of periodic noise and we analysis someimage restoration technique in spatial as well as in frequency domain to remove this noise
