Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new information measure, related to cumulative extropy, called weighted negative cumulative extropy measure. Various properties of the proposed measure are obtained and it is shown that weighted negative cumulative extropy measure has relationship with both weighted mean residual and mean past lifetimes of the associated random variable. Non-parametric estimator of the proposed measure is provided and, using this estimator, a goodness-of-fit test for uniform distribution is developed. The proposed test performs reasonably well.
