Abstract (Summary of the Work)

In this work an algorithm to extract unique feature for each image from given set of distinct images which is called structuring element in terms of mathematical morphology is proposed. A new algorithm for finding distance transform is also suggested. The structuring element extracted by the said algorithm can be used to clapsify images and for other shape analysis purposes.
