Abstract (Summary of the Work)

A spline is defined analytically as a set of polynomials over a knot vector. A knot vector is a vector of real numbers, called knots in nondecreasing order. The two types of spline surfaces studied are the B-spline and the β-spline. Of the B-splines studied, only Nonrational B-splines are considered.
